Each Killer brings a very different personality to the story that will continue to reveal itself the stronger your relationship becomes. All the while you’ll also be trying to solve the mystery of who you are, and if your purpose on this island is simple pleasure… or something more ominous.

Choices abound as feelings grow, culminating in multiple possible endings for each Killer. True love, platonic friendship, or a swift hatchet to the skull are all in the cards depending on your decisions.

Throughout your adventure, you’ll also mix it up playing a series of minigames to help you impress and win over your love interests. Get ready to answer quizzes, hunt for treasure, carve meat, and more to catch the eye of your special someone.

Alexei Bochenek, Creative Director at Psyop, also shared some insights on his approach to adapting Dead by Daylight for such an unexpected medium.

But what if it weren't the famous Killers of this universe doing the chasing?” asked Alexei. “We made it our mission to examine the core characters and themes of the original game from an unexpected angle: through a lens of humor and romance. Our team had a huge amount of fun finding inspiration in this awesome original universe's deep lore and twisting it into something new. I sincerely hope we can make fans' hearts beat just as fast while they're playing Hooked on You as when they play the original, but for a whole new set of reasons.”
